Why use this resource

The Portland Remodel Reviewis an editorial resource for Portland homeowners planning high-end renovations. We are not a contractor. We exist for the same reason you'd read a review before any large purchase: choosing who renovates your home is expensive, high-stakes, and hard to research on your own. We do what a directory won't, which is study the market and name a single firm we'd trust with our own house. A recommendation is only worth something if you trust it, so we tell you plainly where we stand with that firm. See our disclosure below.

The problem we're solving
